The joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10
To glorify God is to take delight in Him. Take delight in approaching Him. Isaiah 58:2
Singing to the Lord is being happy in Him.
Reading the Psalms is delightful, makes me happy;
King David made joyful noise unto the Lord.
Apostle Paul in II Corinthians 4:7 wrote “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us”.
To know that I carry this treasure to me is joy.
To have eternal joy-this is found in my Savior, Jesus Christ,
He is the only one that makes me happy.
Hebrews 12:2
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”
His redeeming us to the Father was His joy on the cross.
Rejoice in the Lord always.
